HEYER Medical, AG in partnership with its technology integrator, SENGEX LLC, are pleased to announce the development of Heyer’s Electronic Anesthesia Record System that will be highlighted at MEDICA along with its newest Advanced Anesthesia Machine called AdAM.
Heyer’s Electronic Anesthesia Record System (EARS) has been specifically designed for anesthesia providers to address the need for increased situation awareness achieved through eliminating “paper-based” recording , and moving this process to the digital age.

HEYER Medical has obtained exclusive marketing rights for Xenon capable anesthesia unit
Based on an agreement with TAEMA, a member of Air Liquide Group - France, HEYER Medical has obtained exclusive marketing rights for Xenon capable anesthesia unit, to be sold under HEYER`s TM VentOR Dual, covering the German speaking countries.
In more then 200 clinical tests in German clinics using the VentOR DUAL, the efficiency of the rare gas Xenon as an anesthetic was proven.
The VentOR DUAL itself convinced due to the low consumption of Xenon, its user friendliness as well as the exact controllability of the inhalation anesthetic. This device was optimized, in close cooperation with the anesthetist of the clinics involved. The use of Xenon gas reduced the stress level of the patient to a minimum.
Additional advantages for the patient:
Anesthesiologists’ report that in comparison with usual anesthetics, Xenon has shown less side effects, Due to the low side effect profile, Xenon gas appears to cause less strain on general organ function, allowing the patient to regain consciousness quicker, independent of age or length of surgical intervention. During anesthesia the circulatory systems remains stable, of particular importance for high risk patients.
Additionally with Xenon being a “natural” gas it is not harmful to the environment.
VentOR DUAL provides increased patient safety, a healthier working environment in the OR, improved economics and responsible use of resources.
By introducing the VentOR DUAL HEYER Medical will strengthen its core competence and expand its position in the medical technology field.

VIETNAM MEDIPHARM 2008
HEYER Medical has successfully established itself on the vietnamese market during the last year. Because participation at the Expo Medipharm in HCM city in August 2007 has been very successful for us, we decided to take part in the Vietnam Medipharm in May 2008 in Hanoi.
There we displayed our core product range of Anesthesia, Monitoring and ICU Ventilation devices which received a lot of interest. Additionally, we strengthened our already existing customer relations and discussed mutual goals.

ARAB HEALTH 2008
For the fourth year in a row now, HEYER Medical AG presented itself as part of the German Pavilion, the largest of all countries represented at the ARAB HEALTH 2008.
Ranked as number 1 in regards to size and number of visitors in the Asian market the exhibition is also well known outside the Middle East.
Gaining new and interesting markets, meeting with associated distributors, presenting our products to doctors and other decision makers in the medical field is our main goal for participating at this fair.
HEYER is successfully selling Anesthesia product lines for low, mid and high range for more than 40 years. Modern additions in Patient monitoring aid in meeting the demands for complete Anesthesia work stations.
The highlight in 2008 was the introduction of our new Anesthesia unit, the HEYER VentOR, representing innovative functions and elements in the Anesthesia market.
The interest in our latest innovation, the ultrasonic nebulizer CUMULUS, confirmed our plan to show our complete Inhalation portfolio next year.
Awareness for Health and Wellness is on the rise in the Middle East as well and contributed to a successful exhibition for the HEYER Medical AG.Now the ARAB HEALTH, like the MEDICA, has become an essential exhibition for suppliers of medical devices who want to meet the demands of the future.
